Writing » Poems » Cuddle

Time had stopped flowing.
I was sitting on the couch,
She was sitting on my lap.

I held her in my arms,
Hugging and cuddling her.
We shared our respective warmths.

We stayed like this
For a long time.
Sometimes,
I gently kissed her neck.

But that night
Was also for a celebration.
The couch had been moved
Outside the house.

Time was in fact flowing,
As a fireworks show I made
Was currently ongoing.

Six months of relationship
Were marked on that night.

She was amazed by the show,
I was glad I didn't
Mess up anything.

The last rockets went off,
And as they exploded,
A message was written in the sky.

  • I started playing DDLC on the 15th of January 2018, and decided to write this poem as some kind of milestone.
