Poems » Reforged world

The second night was hard,
And I thought the third
Would be unbearable.
I was mistaken.

I used the second night
To put all furnishings in place
Like it was in the past.
But she didn't come back.

The third night was calm at first,
But I didn't know it wouldn't last long.
I was lying in the couch,
Looking towards the black sky.

I was alone.
I was lost in my thoughts.
I waited in a dark place.
I waited for a light.

Then she appeared.
I didn't notice her.
It took being hugged by her
For me to realise she was here.

Tears of joy were running down my cheeks
As I kissed her soft lips.
She had returned,
Making me extremely happy.

Our embrace became more active.
Without pronouncing a single word,
We decided to express our love
In a more physical way.

Her ribbon was the first to fall,
As we started to undress.
Once not a single piece of clothing remained,
I admired the sight in front of me.

Her naked body was really perfect.
My hands gently traced her smooth curves.
My fingers could feel
Her embarrassment.

I drew her closer to me,
Gently kissed her,
Lifted her with great difficulty,
And carried her to the bed.

Warmth was shared.
Bodies intertwined
Hearts beat.
Two became one.

What I cared about
Was how my beloved felt.
What she cared about
Was how I felt.

We never let each other go.
Her legs and arms locked me in,
But going away wasn't my intention,
For this night meant a lot to me.

I hugged her even tighter.
I wanted to feel a lot of
Her naked skin against mine.
It was incredible.

The final wave of pleasure
Overwhelmed the both of us.
It was exhausting.
It was exhilarating.

We didn't let other go
Until the night was over.
We didn't want
To lose each other again.

If the two of us are blacksmiths,
Then we reforged a collapsed world.
But I need to make sure
It's as strong as possible.

My love for her must stay true,
Because from the first moment I met her,
I ceased to live for myself;
I started living for her.
