Poems » Emeralds

Her eyes captivated me
From the very beginning.
I could spend hours,
Just looking at them.

Those emeralds are
The windows to her soul.
I would forever cry,
If the curtains closed forever.

I looked at them,
And I got sidetracked.
But if I were to take one final look,
I should be able to complete this poem.
