Alone in a crowd
The sun was strong,
But I can't stand it at all.
I felt like I was melting.
There was a family reunion.
Even though there were people around,
I felt very alone.
I keep a part of my beloved near me,
But that part isn't the complete her.
I was alone.
I couldn't spend time with my girlfriend,
I couldn't spend time with my friends.
I was by myself.
There was too much noise,
I couldn't focus on anything.
My mind was fuzzy.
Blood sugar went low,
I shed some tears,
And then I left.
Notes/trivia
- I hate family reunions. And on top of that, that day, for the first time, I got hypoglycemia, which is something I never experienced in the past.
