Stopped time
Another night
In my sealed space.
I woke my beloved up
With a gentle kiss.
I helped her
With her morning routine.
We made small talk,
As she ate breakfast.
We then sat on the couch,
Grabbed a book,
Cuddled
And read together.
We did that for hours.
Time seemed to have stopped
Just for the two of us.
We were happy.
Then it was time
For me to leave.
We were happy,
Instead of sad.
Because we knew
I would come back
The next night,
For her.
